Information: $28.04 - $37.53 per hour Under the direction of the County Engineer, the Engineering Technician is responsible for performing technical office and construction site duties associated with the delivery of the construction projects and overall operations of the department. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Monitors and conducts inspections of construction projects to assure contractor complies with project specifications and plans; maintains records of construction activities. • Performs construction project design using AutoCAD drafting and design software. • Computes construction project quantities for estimating costs of construction projects. • Performs construction material testing and computations on a project site. • Performs construction surveying and project staking.
