  • Information: Under general direction from the Manager, the Supervisor will perform difficult skilled technical work supervising the adult & family services programs and staff. This includes assisting in the planning, implementing and evaluating the department programs and strategic plans. Develops and maintains a service-oriented approach and supports the quality initiatives of the department, county and community. Maintains a healthy work culture by recruiting, training and developing staff. Assists the manager and director with the adult & family services budget and related work as assigned. Programs the supervisor may be responsible for include: adult protection and vulnerable adult services including guardianship, conservatorship and representative payee; mental health; chemical dependency; home and community-based services, long-term care needs assessments; case management services; health plan care coordination and related activities and other programs as necessary.

This includes planning, implementing and evaluating the eligibility & enrollment programs and strategic plans. Supports the department in the maintenance of a healthy work culture by recruiting, training and developing staff. Assists the manager and director with the eligibility & enrollment budget and related work as assigned. Programs the supervisor may be responsible for include: child support, general & medical assistance, consolidated chemical dependency treatment fund, MNsure, Minnesota supplemental assistance, group residential housing, Minnesota Family Investment Program, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, burial & funeral expenses & related activities.

Accounting Supervisor – Human Services Department

  • Information: Under the direction of the Human Services Director, and with coordination of the Finance Director, the Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision, oversight, direction, and administration of staff engaged in carrying out accounting and office-related functions to maintain all financial records, accounts, billing, accounting receivable, accounts payable, and fiscal transactions; prepare and help manage the Human Services department budget; prepare and/or oversee the preparation of multiple, complex fiscal/statistical reports; implement, modify, and manage automated accounting systems, oversee and manage the billing function, case aids, and office management. This position will also have direct oversight over grant management from a fiscal perspective.
