Typical Working Hours Monday – Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
Under the direction of the Public Health Director, the Health Educator is responsible for organizing, scheduling, developing, assessing, implementing and evaluating health education programs designed to improve and inform county residents regarding public health issues. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Develops, plans and implements plans for the ongoing evaluation and needs assessment of health programs and to ensure existing program requirements are met
• Implements health promotion and disease prevention activities
• Prepare grant applications and reports
• Serve as a liaison for the department in the community by participating on community coalitions, committees and task forces
• Develops strategic partnerships and performs various community health promotional activities

Director of Public Works

Under the general direction of the County Administrator, the Public Works Director is responsible for providing the vision, strategic planning and direction in overseeing the overall operations, plans, projects and staff of the engineering, highway and landfill departments directly or through designated supervisory personnel, engaged in the planning, design and/or maintenance of roads, bridges, ditches, landfill, buildings, county-owned parking lots and fairgrounds in the County.
