Persons served are eligible for Medical Assistance through one of the health plans in Steele County. The focus with the position is the health and safety of persons served. Staff will work with clients to assess needs, develop plans that reflect the individual’s goals and assist in the acquisition of services and supplies needed to meet individual goals. The person who fills this role will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating support plans, as well as collaborating with other members of the long-term care team.

Processing and maintaining various license applications and renewals. Supporting others within the department which may include: property tax administration; preparing delinquent tax listings, notices, and letters to delinquent property owners and filing with district court. Assisting with countywide election duties like handling the distribution of election ballots and supplies; assisting voters with questions, registrations, and absentee voting; testing ballot tabulators and voting machines; and performing other general election and post-election duties.
