- Information: Under the direction of the Chief Deputy Attorney or County Attorney, the Assistant County Attorney I, II or Senior Attorney will be responsible for primarily handling child protection, child support, data practices, tax court appeals, forfeitures, and assisting in providing legal advice to county departments and committees. There is flexibility in assigned caseload. All attorneys also provide a ‘backup’ to another caseload type for vacation coverage. Those areas include adult felony, the Owatonna City Prosecutor, juvenile delinquency, adult protection, child protection, truancy, maltreatment appeals, ERPOs, daily in-custody coverage, and forfeitures. Landfill Operator

- Information: The landfill is open from 7:30am-4:30 Monday-Friday and Saturdays from 8am – 1pm.
The person who fills this role be on a rotating schedule that will work Monday-Friday one week and the next week they will work Tuesday-Saturday.
Under the direction of the Landfill Supervisor, the Landfill Operator is responsible for:
• Operating equipment to spread, place, compact and cover trash and demolition materials.
• Transporting lechate using a tanker truck for off-site disposal.
• Monitoring and interacting with haulers, contractors and the general public.
• Operating and overseeing the household hazardous and refuse facility
• Performing building and grounds maintenance in the facility.
