• Information: Manages the highway construction functions for delivery of the transportation program. Oversee direction of contractors in the performance of their work. Provides technical advice to the Hwy Maint Dept and Design Group. Works with Hwy Maint Dept on the overlay program and best practices for pavement life-cycle. Reviews construction plans and proposals. Ensures conformance to all regulatory permits and approvals. Responsible for supervision, personnel management, budget preparation, and administration of the Construction Group. Provides guidance in dealing with complex programming, operational, and capital issues in functional area. Leads teams to meet strategic goals. MQs: Requires a bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience, including two years of supervision and management of staff/teams. Technical certifications, including registration as PE, preferred. Valid DL and reliable transportation are required. Pay Range: $117,452 - $138,177 – DOQ Closing: 8/13/2026.
