• Information: The Jail Administrator is accountable and responsible to the Sheriff to plan, organize, implement, administer and evaluate the jail. Ensure that the main jail is staffed with well trained and qualified personnel. The Jail Administrator works with staff to analyze staffing needs and to ensure the facility is effectively maintained and managed in a fashion that provides for the protection of the public safety, the institutional safety, and the delivery of constitutional services and rights. The Administrator supervises the Assistant Jail Administrator, Jail Programmers, Jail Sergeants, Correctional Officers and Jail Office Records Specialist. The Administrator provides work direction to transport officers, jail volunteers, and contract vendors.
