This course provides a practical overview of the Inquire adhoc reporting tool within Tyler Enterprise Assessment and Tax. Participants will learn how to create, run, and share custom queries, as well as how to incorporate those queries into dashboard gadgets for enhanced visibility. The course also covers the use of dynamic fields, condition groups, and other features that support flexible, user‑driven reporting.

Artificial intelligence is emerging as a practical, low-risk tool to help staff automate routine work, improve visibility, and support data-driven decisions.

Small counties don’t lack ideas — they lack margin for error. In Schleicher County, the Treasurer’s Office expanded beyond traditional duties to become a practical “control tower” for cash stewardship, cybersecurity governance, and systems modernization without adding staff. This session walks through three real projects: improving liquidity management recognized by a + three+one® cashVest 90+ Award; establishing countywide cybersecurity governance and coordinating modernization efforts including website migration, and payroll system implementation. Attendees will learn how to turn “wild ideas” into bold, defensible solutions using clear ownership, lightweight policy, and measurable outcomes that stand up to audit, leadership scrutiny, and real‑world constraints.

This session introduces users to the new automated eCRV download report (CA510MN), which simplifies how eCRV data is imported into Enterprise Assessment and Tax. Through a demo, users will see how the tool can pull eCRV information through scheduled or on-demand jobs, reduce manual data entry by adding new sales records directly into the system, and streamline workflows by updating routing IDs on the eCRV site when needed. Users will also learn how key parameters - such as updating Routing IDs, inserting missing sales records, or pulling only finalized eCRVs - can shape results. The session will also cover how the system identifies and downloads records based on county-defined Routing IDs or date ranges and updates sales data using existing mapping logic.

Tyler Enterprise Assessment & Tax features an optional public website ‘Property Access’ which makes local property assessment and valuation data, tax billing and collection information, and other important local records available online. Tyler’s next generation version of ‘Property Access’ features responsive design, multi-language support, an AI chat bot, improved ADA/WCAG compliance and more. This session will highlight the features of the new version of ‘Property Access’ and address pricing and availability.

Rural counties face unique challenges when it comes to employee wellness—limited resources, small staffs, and the need to balance fiscal responsibility with meaningful benefits. This session shares the real world journey of Schleicher County’s wellness program, built intentionally over time to support employee health while protecting public funds.

Attendees will learn how Schleicher County leveraged the Texas Association of Counties’ Healthy County framework, aligned incentives with employee engagement, and secured leadership buy in to create a sustainable, participation driven wellness culture. The session will walk through practical decisions such as structuring incentives, managing tobacco and preventive care requirements, coordinating with benefits partners, and communicating expectations clearly to employees.

Our county wanted to use Copilot agents across the organization, so we began a project to build and test AI agents in a practical, repeatable way. This session shares a simple framework for evaluating Copilot agents so employees across your county will have access to intelligent agents that use a curated knowledge base, making it easier to access information.

We will also walk through the process of setting up a Copilot Studio agent and a knowledge base, as well as ways to optimize and structure available data for your agent to improve its answers and citations. You will leave with an easy testing plan, clear scoring metrics for agent answer quality, correctness, and citations, and a scoring system you can use to compare agents and decide when they are ready for county-wide use.
