What is MnCCC Up To?

What is MnCCC Up To?

MnCCC has been working hard to keep members engaged, informed, and excited during the past year. Because 2020 was filled with many unexpected circumstances, we wanted to take a moment to remind you of how we are working to ensure quality services for you and your county in 2021 and beyond.

MnCCC continues to monitor the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic in accordance with CDC guidelines. Our priority continues to be keeping our employees, members, vendors, and partners healthy and safe. MnCCC staff will continue to work remotely in 2021 and we are reevaluating as necessary.

We are still available during regular business hours via phone and email, so don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need anything! Our new main line is (651) 401-4200 and our fax number is (651) 401-4299. We also now have an RSVP-dedicated line which will be the easiest way to get help in a pinch! Just dial (651) 401-4206.

We are still keeping members engaged virtually by providing services and training! Because September was Self-Care Awareness month, we partnered with Richie Breathe and Desi Klimesh to offer a series of self-care and wellness workshops, which received great feedback from our members who decided to take a moment for themselves. We will be offering more workshops like these at the request of members - don't forget to check our 2021 conference schedule for similar workshops as well!

As mentioned above, MnCCC offers licenses for Adobe, LinkedIn Learning, and other services that can help improve professionalism, encourage wellbeing, and much more! We've also got a variety of training options, like IT Leadership, an AgilityIRL series, and demos for new and existing products. Be sure to check RSVP regularly for training opportunities or call MnCCC's office for more information.

MnCCC has also been hosting giveaways on social media for various special days throughout the year, like Trivia Day, Hiking Day, and more! We will continue to post about these special opportunities throughout 2021, so be sure to check out our social media pages and hit that follow or like button!

Virtual Meetings and Expenses

Because of the way meetings were conducted in 2020, meeting expenses were exponentially reduced. While the number of meetings and training opportunities reached nearly 400 because of our virtual platforms, we didn't have quite as many meeting expenses incurred to the levels of previous years. MnCCC is proud to announce that we are absorbing shared meeting expenses from 2020!

We were able to expand the number of virtual platforms to hold meetings - including Zoom, GoToMeeting, Teams, and Miro. We also worked with the user group and committee chairs to train on the various platforms and adjust agendas to allow for the different meeting formats. This has been a great opportunity for groups to meet with more people! While we almost always offer a virtual option for the meetings we hold, we're finding that more meetings can be held solely on a digital platform. We're even holding another virtual conference!
