Tell us a little bit about your company!

Counties Providing Technology (CPT) has over 36 years of experience providing an affordable solution to local governments and fast-flexible data processing services. CPT is customer owned through a joint powers agreement between 24 MN counties.

What products, services, or training do you offer to local government agencies?

CPT places its emphasis on serving the needs of county governments with primary software packages including Real Estate Tax Services, financial integration with IFS, solutions for Highway Cost Accounting, Employee portal/timekeeping, Human Resources, and Payroll.  We offer custom support and training to the counties we serve.  We are focused on providing products that work and delivering responsive customer support with a live body and consistent contact with the same members of the CPT support team.  Our emphasis is on our customers; because we are the customer.

What is your favorite part of working with an organization like MnCCC?

Opportunities to network with our clients and training.

What are your company's future plans and upcoming projects?

As all of our software is programmed in house, we are always working on improvements to our software.   Most noteworthy at the moment is converting our real estate tax software to a web based product and streamlining our report generator product.   We are also rolling out a phone app for employee time entry and self-service features.

Tell us a little bit about the non-profit you chose to donate to?

Hope Harbor is a faith based ministry that serves teens and their families. They work with ordinary kids who are healing from extraordinary things.  Hope Harbor is a privately funded nonprofit organization founded in Marshall, MN with a location for teen girls in Marshall, MN and a location for teen boys in Parker, SD.
