MnCCC's Annual Conference is Going Virtual!

Considering the global pandemic we are all facing right now, MnCCC has had to make some changes to our Annual Conference that normally takes place at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria. While we would love to get together with everyone, things will be slightly different this year. Our 2020 Annual Conference is going ALL virtual! You read that right. We have converted our regular conference into a fully virtual, four-day, online event. While we had to reduce the number of sessions we typically have, it will look very similar to previous years (except, you know, the virtual part). We will have 3 to 4 sessions running simultaneously from 8 am – 4 pm June 1-4, 2020. The sessions will range in topics from training for county officers to wellbeing at work to user group and membership meetings, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy and benefit from. Much like our regular conference, there will also be opportunities to participate in group activities and win prizes throughout the event!

The registration fee of $45 will give you full access to our conference app, all conference sessions, special virtual events, and the pre-conference attendee package, which will be packed with information, goodies, and MnCCC gear! To make sure you receive the package before the conference, be sure to sign up before the deadline of May 18 (which you can do here).

While we can’t gather like we normally would, we are so happy to have the opportunity to offer our members a virtual conference. This year’s theme is “2020 Vision of the Future”, and our vision is for everyone to stay safe, happy, and healthy, while still benefitting from training, user group meetings, and group activities. We hope to see you online at our conference.

Wondering why you should attend MnCCC's Virtual Annual Conference? Here are just a few reasons you could benefit from this event!

1. Network from Home!

Virtual conferences allow attendees to participate in more opportunities than traditional conferences. It's also a great way to connect with people who wouldn't normally be able to attend because of time and distance restraints.

2. Get Your Yoga On!

A great way to stay active and engaged is to get your body moving. MnCCC is proud to partner with Desi Klimesh of Yoga Tree to offer a few sessions on yogic tools and practices!

3. Find New Opportunities to Learn!

Several sessions at our conference are geared toward giving attendees new opportunities to learn. Assessors, auditors, treasurers, IT, financial officers, lawyers, and others will surely find something to help them gain more knowledge while having fun!

4. Gather with User Groups!

All of MnCCC's user groups will have meetings at the annual conference. These are crucial for groups to hold elections and receive updates from the past year. They occur throughout the conference so attendees can easily fit other activities into their schedule.

5. Enjoy Short Sessions!

The Morning Coffee Break Sessions on Tuesday allow attendees to participate in brief 20-minute sessions. This is a fun way to engage participants in a variety of topics in a short amount of time.

6. Win Fun Prizes!

One of our favorite ways to treat attendees is by giving away fun prizes! You will have the chance to win throughout the week by both random drawings and participating in group activities!
