MnCCC Spotlight: Jonathan Simon
MnCCC welcomes our newest employee, Jonathan Simon! Jonathan began with MnCCC on January 12 and will take over Mike Fox's role when he retires in March. We are lucky to have Jonathan on board! Read on to learn more about Jonathan!
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
My name is Jonathan Simon, and I'm a Finance Manager with a background in financial planning and analysis within the tech industry. I bring experience in managerial accounting and financial modeling, and I enjoy collaborating with others to solve problems and create efficiencies. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing and PC gaming, which help me recharge and stay curious. I’m excited to join the MnCCC team and ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.
What is your role with MnCCC?
As Finance Manager, I oversee all financial planning and analysis for the organization. My responsibilities also include payroll, monthly and year-end close, and managing the annual audit process.
What interested you in our company?
I have a strong passion for technology, and this role at MnCCC allows me to combine that passion with my financial expertise to support Minnesota counties, cities, agencies, and Tribal Nations in getting the most value from the software they use.
What was your first job?
My first job was at age 14, washing dishes at Bunkies Bar & Grill in Chisago City, Minnesota.

Catching a 50"+ muskie!
