Year-End Training
85 users attended the 2025 Year-End Training - many familiar faces and some new! Our day started with an hour of networking, followed by 4 presentations and a roundtable opportunity. The Resource Training & Solutions Center has been a great, centralized venue the past 2 years!
Training Topics
This year’s topics were relevant and helpful, especially as changes are always on the horizon.

- Roundtable Discussions gave attendees the chance to discuss hot topics and get burning questions answered.
- Manual Void Correction: Sherlyn shared some best practices and tips & tricks.
- Accrual vs. Report Codes: Michelle covered what accrual and report codes are and how to use them in IFS.
Thank you to Amy Lombardo (Chisago), Sherlyn Kapsner (Sherburne), Michelle Knutson (Big Stone), and the TriMin team for sharing your knowledge!

Committee Updates
Our Committee is always looking for new members! As always, the most valuable topic is the question YOU ask. Open discussion has been a key component to educating our users – join in our Training Committee and User Group meetings.
As a special thank-you to those who dedicate their time and knowledge to presenting at Year-End training, the attendance fee is waived. In addition, there are expense reimbursement opportunities for IFS Advisory officers, representatives, and liaisons. It’s a great way to give back to those who volunteer their time to our group!
