Get to know the Best Dressed Vendor Booth!

In order to embrace our "MnCCC Starring You" theme at the annual conference last month, we encouraged vendors to participate in decorating their booths to add an extra level of excitement in the vendor show. Attendees had the opportunity to vote for the best dressed booth by voting in a poll in the EventMobi app. Many vendors participated in dressing up their booth with dazzling displays! Although, it was Cúram, by Merative that was voted the Best Dressed Vendor Booth! As a reward for winning the best dressed vendor booth, a $250 donation was made to Girls Who Code on behalf of Cúram, by Merative

About Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit dedicated to closing the gender gap in tech. Our Girls Who Code College Loop at the University of Minnesota is also working towards that goal in providing a space for women 18+ to have community in a field widely dominated by men. We aim to build belonging, facilitate leadership, and help develop essential skills. We have meetings twice a month, with one meeting focused on a coding-related topic, including introducing new techniques, coding languages, having a woman in computer science speak about her experiences and career, and practicing technical interviews. Our second monthly meetings are fun outings that help our club build community, such as going to museums or getting food together.
